Retexturing Services

Knockdown texture (or spanish-lace) is by far and away the most popular ceiling texture today. It is often applied to contrast with and offset the traditional orange peel wall texture. However, knockdown texture also looks great on walls instead of the traditional orange peel to give you home a more mediterranean flair.

We also repair other types of "older" textures such as popcorn, stipple, and stomp or with a little extra time and effort, smooth ceiling textures.

Outdoor Ceiling Solution

Several years ago, John Pesce, the owner of Quality Ceilings Refinishing, Inc, developed a unique long-term solution to the problems experienced with outdoor lania ceilings.

Instead of patching just the bad areas and waiting for the other currently-unaffected areas to peel and crack, our solution involves covering up the old ceiling with sheets of very light styrofoam. After screwing these panels into the existing drywall, we tape and finish all the joints before retexturing with a concrete-based, sand-filled fine spray finish designed for durability.

This solution essentially waterproofs your new outdoor lania or home entrance ceilings. If it gets dirty, just take a hose to lightly rinse it off. This solution, which has been one of our best sellers for many years, will beautify and protect your outdoor ceilings for years to come.
